First 100 Days

I recently received a question about the biggest challenge that I anticipate facing in my first 100 days in office. Though it depends on the office, I think political polarization will be a challenge, as well as climate change and the war on science. These are overarching issues that are difficult to address in one piece of legislation or change in 100 days. How can we build bipartisan coalitions that face climate change and polarization head on?

In the first 100 days in office, I will make a stronger democracy a top priority. Introducing and supporting legislation to expand voter enfranchisement, ranked choice voting, and limits on campaign spending are all common sense ways to strengthen our democracy.
